A local story
Although Sicily Stay & Tours is a new brand, our team has 10+ years of experience in tourism, organizing Mount Etna excursions, tailor-made Sicily itineraries and overnight stays in Taormina.
After helping thousands of travelers explore the island, we created our own project with a clear goal: to offer more personalized, flexible, and authentic Sicily tours designed around each guest.
Sicily Stay & Tours is a certified tour operator based in Taormina, created by people who live and work here and have a deep, long-standing connection with the local tourism industry.
We don’t just organize tours—we understand what truly works, what travelers enjoy most, and how to create meaningful and memorable experiences.
Our standard tours are carefully crafted based on this experience, combining the most appreciated places and activities with smooth organization and attention to detail. At the same time, we offer fully customized tours in Sicily, adapting every itinerary to your interests, pace, and travel style.
In addition to tours, we also take care of the “stay” experience. We directly manage selected B&Bs and holiday homes, ensuring high standards and personal attention, and collaborate with trusted local partners to offer a wider range of accommodations, from cozy apartments to larger and premium properties.
Our goal is simple: to help you experience Sicily in a real, authentic, and stress-free way—just like a local would.

Co-founder and Technical Director
Hi! I’m Claudia, co-founder and technical director of Sicily Stay & Tours.
I’ve been working in tourism with a tour operator in Taormina for more than 10 years, helping travelers discover this incredible island through activities, Etna excursions, and personalized experiences.
After all this time, I decided to create something more personal—something that truly reflects my way of welcoming people to Sicily.
I speak Italian, English, Spanish, and a petit peu de Français, so I’ll be happy to assist you in your own language and make you feel at home from the very first moment.
For me, it’s not just about organizing a trip—it’s about helping you experience Sicily in a real, authentic way.

Hi! I’m Roberto.
I was born in Palermo, but I’ve been living in Taormina since 2017. I have a degree in Forest Sciences, and over the years Mount Etna has truly become my second home.
I’m passionate about history, and during our tours I love to share not only the natural aspects of the places we visit, but also stories, historical insights, and little curiosities that make each experience more unique and engaging.
I’ve had the pleasure of guiding many travelers around Sicily, always aiming to create memorable experiences and receiving great feedback along the way.

Paolo
Volcanological guide
I was born and raised on Mount Etna, and I have always had a deep passion for nature, which I’ve developed through outdoor sports and trekking across the mountains and volcanic islands of Sicily.
I began sharing images and stories about Etna back in 2009, while working at a small mountain station at 1,800 meters above sea level. In 2013, I started gaining experience as a hiking guide, and what began as an interest soon turned into a true passion.
I hold a degree in Geological Sciences, I am a member of the Italian Alpine Club, and a former volunteer with the Mountain Rescue Service. Today, I work as a certified volcanological guide, officially registered with the College of Alpine and Volcanological Guides of Sicily.
