ITINERARY

After pickup from your accommodation in the Taormina area, enjoy a scenic drive to the beautiful Alcantara Gorges, one of Sicily's most fascinating natural attractions.

Upon arrival, you'll meet your professional river guides, who will provide a full safety briefing and all the necessary equipment, including a wetsuit, helmet, river shoes, and buoyancy aid.

The adventure takes place in a protected section of the Alcantara River, away from the busiest tourist areas and accessible only with authorised guides. For approximately two hours, you'll descend the river using your body as a natural raft, letting the current guide you through crystal-clear pools, gentle rapids, and narrow lava canyons carved over thousands of years.
