Tour description:
This tour is the perfect match between nature and flavors: enjoy a morning hike on Mount Etna and a light lunch with wine pairing at a local winery.
The tour includes a medium-level hike on the north side of Mt. Etna at an altitude between 1600/1800 meters among dormant craters, extinct lava flows, and endemic vegetation. The hike lasts 1.5/2 hours and it's a round trip (3 km).
After the hike, visit a volcanic cave (lava tube) with helmets and headlamps provided (in wintertime the cave may not be accessible due to the snow).
Before returning, we will stop for a light lunch and a wine pairing in a typical Etna winery.
