Tour description:
This tour is the best solution to enjoy Mt. Etna in a short day.
The tour includes a medium-level hike on the north side of Mt. Etna at an altitude between 1600/1800 meters among dormant craters, extinct lava flows, and endemic vegetation. The hike lasts 1.5/2 hours and it's a round trip (3 km).
A certified naturalistic English-speaking guide will accompany you (other languages available upon request).
All these elements make this tour extremely popular among families, even those with young children.
After the hike, visit a volcanic cave (lava tube) with helmets and headlamps provided (in wintertime the cave may not be accessible due to the snow).
