Experience Mount Etna at sunset, when the volcano transforms into a landscape of colors, light and silence.

This tour takes you up to approximately 2900 meters on the northern side of the volcano, where you will enjoy breathtaking views of the summit area and the Sicilian coastline as the sun sets.

The experience combines a 4x4 ascent with short guided walks, allowing you to explore the volcanic environment in a relaxed and atmospheric way.

ITINERARY

Once at Piano Provenzana, you will board 4x4 vehicles to reach the high-altitude area near the volcanological observatory at 2900 metres. From there, a short and easy walk will take you to a panoramic point, where you can fully enjoy the sunset in a quiet and evocative setting.

After the experience, you will return to Piano Provenzana through the volcanic landscapes of Piano delle Concazze.

During both the off-road ascent and the walk, you will be accompanied by an English-speaking guide who will explain the volcanic phenomena and the unique characteristics of Mount Etna.

The tour also includes the visit of a volcanic cave, equipped with helmets and headlamps provided on site.

Upon request, it is possible to add a dinner before returning, with an additional cost.
