Tour description:
Is there anything more romantic than sunsets? Imagine watching the sunset from the summit area of Mount Etna at an elevation of 2900 meters!
Once at Piano Provenzana, you'll board 4x4 vehicles to get to 2900 meters above sea level. We will reach the area near the volcanological observatory, and from there, we will begin an easy walk to a panoramic point from where you can experience the magic and emotion of the sunset, with breathtaking views of the Sicilian coastline, the Aeolian Islands, and the active craters above.
Afterwards, we will go back to Piano Provenzana through Piano delle Concazze.
During the off-road ride and the walk, you will be accompanied by an English speaking guide who will explain you all the volcanic phenomena.
The tour also includes a visit of a volcanic cave (helmets and headlamps will be provided on spot).
Upon request, it will be possible to add a dinner before returning with an additional price.
